Full-service websites

You have a web guy. I build the site, host it, and stay the person you reach when the hours change or something breaks. Hours, services, and contact stay easy to find on a phone—and one person stays accountable when something needs changing.

Timelines

  • Standard site: about 3 weeks after content is ready
  • Fuller build: up to about 2 months
  • Written reply: usually 1–2 business days
  • Most of the wait is content—logo and rough copy ready means a faster start

You have a web guy

I build the site, host it, and stay the person you reach when something needs changing—same inbox from first page to year five.

  • I wrote the code; I handle the server
  • Menu change? Email it over. Form broke? Tell me.
  • Ongoing care after launch is in the monthly range under Investment

Live sites I build and maintain

I built and host these. Dive Bar is an Edmonton venue; Coleman Finishing is an Ontario contractor; Small Calibre is a brochure site for a specialty publisher. Visit them and judge for yourself.

MusicLivesHere

Edmonton live-music and comedy venue in the Quarters—historic room, packed calendar, gallery, and what guests need to find you online.

Venue site with staff CMS.

Built right. Finished clean.

Ontario contractor—services, project photos, and staff CMS.

Trades site with staff CMS.

Old School Advertising With a Modern Touch

Alberta and Ontario marketing—brochure site for a specialty publisher, no staff CMS.

Brochure site—no staff CMS.

PR Practical delivered exactly what we needed: a professional website that’s as easy to manage as it is to use—and Mike Proofed my site from top to bottom.

I live in the bush outside of Haliburton. The nearest cell tower gives me 3 bars of LTE service. I can still post to my site from my phone. It’s exactly what I was looking for in a website. Great company to deal with.

Ranges

Investment

Builds typically land between $2,200 and $5,200 CAD. The low end is a simple brochure site; the high end is a fuller eight-page site with staff CMS. Exact scope and price come in writing after intake—not a menu pick.

Build: $2,200 – $5,200 CAD

Ongoing care: typically $99 – $159 / month after launch

Still less expensive than goalie gear.

What moves you up the range

  • More distinct page types and content depth
  • Staff CMS so your team can edit day-to-day without code
  • Menus, calendars, or galleries when the business needs them

Before the build

  • Written intake first—scope, price, and timeline confirmed in writing before coding.
  • 50% deposit starts the build; balance is due at launch.

Outside this range

Online stores, booking systems, and multi-language builds are scoped separately—ask and I’ll tell you straight.

Quick answers before you write

I already have a site (or mostly Facebook)
Bring the domain. I move you onto hosting I run, keep what still earns its keep, and stay reachable for changes—full-service, not a zip and a PDF.
Will I show up on Maps / “near me”?
Google Business Profile handles your pin and proximity search results, but it won’t explain who you are, answer visitor questions, or detail your offerings. I can walk you through GBP setup or settings—the profile belongs to you. I don’t run GBP as an ongoing retainer.
Will it drive people through the door—or sales?
A site doesn’t invent customers. It stops losing them: clear who/where/what, hours and contact easy on a phone, and a page that backs up your Google pin. Foot traffic and sales still depend on the business; I build the part that makes you findable and trustworthy when someone is already looking.

After you say yes

  1. Direction

Look, voice, references, copy, and a written page list. We align before the build starts—so you know what you’re buying.

  2. Build & launch

I build, host, and launch the site, then stay on for ongoing care. You have a web guy on the site from day one.

First 3 months: I watch load time, broken links, and forms, then move into normal hosting and updates. No ranking guarantee. GBP owns the map pin—I can walk you through setup.

Who this is for

Local shops, trades, restaurants, venues, and services who want one accountable person for build, hosting, and updates—in the published range, not a weekend DIY experiment.

Not a fit if you want a cheap throwaway page, a quick patch, or a marketing-agency retainer.
